CHARLES DE GAULLE · PARIS
Your CDG airport transfer to Paris with a private chauffeur: met in the arrivals hall at Charles de Gaulle, driven to your address in around 45 minutes, for a fixed €100 agreed at booking. Flight tracked, 24/7.
€100 fixed fare
Page updated on 12 October 2026
AT A GLANCE
The fare is agreed when you book and it does not move with traffic, the time of day or the length of the queue at passport control. A private chauffeur meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign and drives you door to door, from Charles de Gaulle to your hotel, apartment or office.
Safeness Transport is a chauffeur company based in Meaux, near Roissy, not a marketplace: the person who answers on WhatsApp can change your booking.
HOW IT WORKS
After an overnight flight, you should not have to decode signage or queue for a taxi. Here is what happens instead.
MEETING POINT
Your driver waits in the public arrivals hall of the terminal where you land; the exact meeting point is confirmed with your booking.
The circular building. Your driver waits in the arrivals area once you leave the baggage hall. CDGVAL, the free automatic shuttle train, links it to Terminals 2 and 3.
Each of these halls has its own arrivals exit, and your driver waits at the one where your flight is handled. Note that 2A and 2C are due to be renamed Terminal 3 in March 2027.
Arrivals from halls K, L and M are brought back to the main 2E building, and your driver meets you in the arrivals hall there or at 2F, as stated in your confirmation.
A smaller terminal for regional flights, reached by a shuttle bus from 2E and 2F. Depending on your flight, the pickup takes place at 2F or directly in front of 2G; this is agreed with you in advance.
Used mainly by charter and some low-cost flights, next to the Roissypôle area and its CDGVAL station. Terminal 3 is due to be renamed Terminal 2 in March 2027.
YOUR OPTIONS
A private transfer is not the cheapest way to get from CDG to Paris. Here are the main options as of October 2026; third-party fares may change.
| Option | Price (as of October 2026) | Journey time | Door to door | Price known in advance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Safeness private chauffeur | €100 fixed, one way | ~45 min | Yes, with name-sign welcome | Yes, at booking |
| Paris taxi (official flat rate) | €56 Right Bank / €65 Left Bank | 30–50 min | Yes, from the taxi rank | Yes, flat rate |
| Ride-hailing apps | Variable, roughly €44–84 depending on category | ~50 min | Yes, at the app pickup zone | Dynamic pricing |
| RER B train | €14 (airport ticket) | ~35 min to Gare du Nord, plus connection | No | Yes |
| Bus 350 / 351 | About €2 (bus-tram ticket) | 60–90 min | No | Yes |
| Roissybus | Discontinued on 1 March 2026, no direct replacement from central Paris | |||
If you are travelling alone, with one suitcase, landing in the middle of the day and heading to a central address, an official Paris taxi from the marked rank is a sound choice. Only take a taxi from the official rank and decline offers made inside the terminal.
The RER B leaves from the "Aéroport CDG 2 TGV" station (Terminal 2) and "Aéroport CDG 1" (Terminals 1 and 3) and reaches Gare du Nord in around 35 minutes. It is the fastest public option, but trains can be crowded at rush hour, several Paris stations involve stairs and long corridors, and weekend engineering works sometimes replace trains with buses. Timetables and works are published by RATP.
The Roissybus, which ran between CDG and the Opéra district, stopped operating on 1 March 2026. The CDG Express rail link between Gare de l'Est and Terminal 2 is announced for 28 March 2027, at the time of writing.
PRICE
€100 is the fixed fare for a one-way transfer between Charles de Gaulle and Paris, taxes included. It is confirmed in writing at booking.
Book the return journey at the same time and the round trip is 10% less: €180 instead of €200.
Other routes are quoted on request: a transfer between Orly and CDG (page in French), or the Orly airport transfer at €80 (page in French). We also cover the Beauvais airport transfer (page in French), used by several low-cost airlines.
PEACE OF MIND
We follow your flight by its number: your driver is scheduled around the actual landing time, and there is no surcharge for a late arrival.
The conditions that apply to waiting time are set out in your booking confirmation, before you travel. You will not be asked for an unannounced cash supplement on the day: the fare you agreed is the fare you pay.
If your plans change, let us know at least 24 hours before the pickup. Cancellation conditions are specified in your confirmation. If your flight is cancelled, contact us as soon as possible so we can discuss a new pickup time for your rebooked flight.
LUGGAGE AND VEHICLES
Choose your vehicle by the number of passengers and, above all, the number of suitcases.
| Vehicle | Range | Passengers | Suitcases |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tesla | Comfort | 3 | 3 |
| Mercedes E-Class | Business | 3 | 3 |
| Mercedes S-Class | Luxury | 3 | 3 |
| Mercedes V-Class | Premium | 7 | 7 |
A family of four with large suitcases, or two couples travelling together, will be more comfortable in the V-Class. Golf bags, skis, strollers, wheelchairs or musical instruments should be mentioned when you book, so the right vehicle is assigned and the boot is free when you arrive.
FAMILIES
In France, children under 10 must travel in an approved child restraint suited to their age and weight (Code de la route, article R412-2). Taxis benefit from an exemption; private-hire vehicles such as ours do not.
Infant seats, child seats and booster seats are available on request. When you book, give each child's age and approximate weight so the correct seat is fitted before your driver leaves for the airport. Any conditions for child seats are stated in your confirmation.
Heading to the parks after Paris? We also arrange a private transfer to Disneyland Paris (page in French), directly from CDG or from your hotel.
DEPARTURES
Your driver collects you at your address in Paris and drops you at the departures level of your terminal. Allow around 45 minutes of driving time, more on weekday mornings and Friday evenings, and add the margin your airline recommends for check-in and security.
Check your terminal on your boarding pass or airline app before booking, especially from 2027 when the new terminal names take effect.
BUSINESS TRAVEL
For a meeting in La Défense or the 8th arrondissement, you need a driver already waiting, an agreed price and a quiet car to work in. You receive an invoice for your expense report, and Wi-Fi on board lets you deal with emails on the way.
The S-Class suits executives and VIP guests. For a full day of meetings, our hourly chauffeur hire in Paris (page in French) keeps a driver at your disposal between appointments. Arriving by private jet? We also handle the Le Bourget private aviation transfer (page in French). For trips beyond the Paris region, ask about our long-distance chauffeur service (page in French). Corporate arrangements are quoted on request.
During your stay, the same team can take you on a day trip to Versailles with a chauffeur (page in French); our drivers are not licensed tour guides. All our services are on the Safeness Transport home page.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A one-way transfer between Charles de Gaulle and Paris costs €100, a fixed fare with taxes included, confirmed in writing when you book. It does not change with traffic or flight delays. If you book the return journey at the same time, the round trip is 10% less, so €180 instead of €200.
The official Paris taxi flat rate from CDG is €56 to the Right Bank and €65 to the Left Bank as of October 2026, which is good value for a solo traveller with little luggage. A private chauffeur costs more but meets you inside the terminal with a name sign, tracks your flight, can fit child seats on request and confirms the price in advance. It makes most sense for families, early or late arrivals, heavy luggage and business travel.
Your driver waits in the public arrivals hall of your terminal, at the exit of the baggage area, holding a sign with your name. You receive the driver's name and phone number before you land, and the exact meeting point is stated in your confirmation.
We track your flight using its flight number, so your driver adjusts to the actual landing time. There is no surcharge for a late arrival. The conditions for waiting time are set out in your booking confirmation.
Yes. In France, children under 10 must use an approved child restraint, and unlike taxis, private-hire vehicles are not exempt. Infant seats, child seats and boosters are available on request; give each child's age and weight when you book.
The Tesla, Mercedes E-Class and S-Class each take 3 passengers and 3 suitcases. The Mercedes V-Class takes up to 7 passengers and 7 suitcases. Please mention golf bags, skis, strollers or other bulky items when you book.
No. The Roissybus between CDG and Opéra was discontinued on 1 March 2026. The main public options are now the RER B train, at €14 as of October 2026, and buses 350 and 351.
It is possible, but not always comfortable. Trains can be crowded at rush hour, many Paris stations have stairs and long corridors, and weekend works sometimes replace trains with buses. With several large suitcases or young children, a door-to-door transfer is usually easier.
Allow around 45 minutes of driving from central Paris, more at weekday rush hours, then add the time your airline recommends for check-in and security. Check your terminal on your boarding pass before you book.
